The 2018 Hot Air Balloon Festival will have a program full of interesting moments for those who want to fly, and for those who want to enjoy unique shows.
The is coming 2018 Hot Air Balloon Festival. From 29 September at 7 October, the evocative setting of Paestum it will be the ideal theater for a series of events to be experienced all in one breath. Young and old will be led to a large village area, located in the heart of the town in the province of Salerno.
The event was organized by Cilento Mongolfiere and the association Live Paestum, with the patronage of the Municipality of Capaccio-Paestum, the Aero Club of Italy and the Aeroclub Benevento.
Between kites, playground, refreshment bar, fox hunting and many other entertaining initiatives, three will be the main options for each participant.
The initiatives of the Balloon Festival
The initiative Give a flight allows each visitor to give a flight session to others, adding a personalized dedication. The bound flight offers the opportunity to admire all the temples of the historic town from above, including the Archaeological Park of Paestum, thanks to hot air balloons that rise to 20 / 25 meters from the ground. Finally, the free fly it has a total duration of about 2 hours and requires a compulsory reservation. Each flight will be canceled in case of bad weather and it will be possible to take part if you are taller than 120 centimeters.
