The Municipality 8 of Naples has issued a management order (n. 15 of 20 March 2023) for the establishment of a particular traffic arrangement along via Camillo Guerra, in the stretch between Largo Decina and the intersection with via Marano Pianura, due to the excavation work for the installation of infrastructures for the distribution of electric energy by E-DISTRIBUZIONE SPA.
The ordinance establishes that, from 23 to 31 March 2023 an alternate one-way will be activated regulated by a traffic light system for a mobile construction site.
The traffic device and the reasons underlying the ordinance
The choice to introduce the alternating one way regulated by a traffic light system for a mobile construction site along via Camillo Guerra was dictated by the need to safeguard the safety of vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the excavation works for the installation of infrastructures for the distribution of electricity.
The alternating one-way, in fact, allows you to guarantee a regulated and safe flow of vehicles passing on the road, avoiding the risk of accidents due to the presence of road construction sites.
The provisions of the ordinance
The ordinance establishes the institution of the alternate one-way street controlled by a traffic light system for mobile construction site along via Camillo Guerra, from 23 to 31 March 2023, in the section between Largo Decina and the intersection with via Marano Pianura.
Furthermore, it obliges the company to put in place, starting from 24 hours before the start of the works, the indication signs and the traffic light systems which must be removed at the end of the works.
The firm itself will also have to affix indication and warning signs along via Camillo Guerra starting from the intersection with via Marano Pianura up to Piazza Nazareth and along via Guantai in Orsolone starting from Largo Ruggiero.
In case of need, the autonomous Service Local police is authorized to adopt any other measures and any other arrangement that the organization of traffic deems necessary.
