The degradation found in the area of Aragonese Towers in Naples, not far from Via Marina, on via Amerigo Vespucci, will soon be a memory since the area will finally be reclaimed. The first interventions have already begun thanks to Asia and Napoli Servizi a couple of days ago and lasted 4 intense hours.

They have had their effect, though, because now there are no longer the many rubbish that invaded the area and there was also a need for the bobcat, a kind of excavator, to lift some mountains of garbage including puppets, mattresses torn, blankets, umbrellas and dresses. She even had to remove the carcass of a scooter which was located near the historic Marinella fountain.

The sidewalk is also usable

The sidewalk near the Aragonese Towers finally returns to be usable. Actually, thousands of people do it every day cross to reach the port and the historic center, with the difficulties given by abandonment and decay, but after this cleaning it has become civilly usable.

It was freed from the remains of food, syringes, plastic, bottles, aluminum trays, paper and many other types of abandoned waste.

The previous remediation in March and the next interventions

Already 5 months ago a large reclamation work had been carried out, again thanks to the Municipality of Naples, but the area it didn't take long to return to being a landfill. That is why we intervened again.

Mayor Gaetano Manfredi declared that it is necessary work and plan to prevent the situation from happening again and it is necessary to coordinate optimally and efficiently. The interventions must necessarily be periodic.

More cleaning work will need to be carried out in the near future. In recent days, action has been taken on the green areas, while the moat around the Spinelli Tower. To avoid the repetition of the situation of, it will be necessary to create one fence on the moat and the heads of the State Property will have to do it. There is already one along the Torre Brava and the situation there is in fact better.

Of course you will also need to make a monitoring daily and continuous.
