Obligation to apply masks on public transport and in terminals in Campania: here is the new ordinance of the Region.

The President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca has issued one new ordinance regarding the obligation to wear a mask on means of transport.
In recent days, at the beginning of July 2020, the decision was taken to make travelers use 100% of the capacity of the means of transport, eliminating the previous restrictions relating to the obligation to distance themselves and to occupy only a part of the means of transport.

For this reason, the ordinance n.61 of 8 July provides, until the 14 July, the obligation to wear the mask in terminals and on board the means of transport public, including platforms and tracks. This applies, of course, for the entire duration of the journey.

Consequently, companies must forbid entry to passengers without a mask and take all necessary measures to avoid gatherings on board, until the outflow of passengers is complete.

Home isolation and quarantine for those arriving in Campania

The same ordinance also provides for the obligation of home isolation for those returning from non-Schengen states and the obligation to carry out swabs e serological tests. This applies to both Italian and foreign subjects who enter the Campania region.

The ordinance provides that those who return must communicate the arrival to the Prevention Department
of the health authority responsible for the area and will be subjected to health surveillance and quarantine for 14 days.

If symptoms attributable to Covid-19 arise, it is necessary to promptly notify the Health Authority.
