Still a red zone for Campania due to the epidemiological situation: the incidence of infections is high.

La Campania remains in the red zone almeno until the Easter period, is what was decided by the control room of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità yesterday, March 19, 2021. The ISS also said it was worried because we are in the seventh consecutive week of worsening as regards the numbers of Coronavirus infected people, for which it is still necessary to maintain strict restrictions at the national level.

They are 10 high-risk regions and, in addition to Campania, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Marche, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, Puglia, Veneto and the autonomous province of Trento remain in the red zone.

Due to the worsening of the epidemiological situation, Sardinia passes from the white zone directly to the orange zone.

The situation in Campania

As mentioned, Campania still remains in the red zone since the incidence of new positives remains high, i.e. higher than the critical threshold which stands at 250 positives per 100000 inhabitants.

In fact, we are currently at a ratio of 274 per 100000 inhabitants.
