The Chapel of the Whites of Justice in Naples will be open to guided tours that will lead to the discovery of wonderful Baroque works!
Saturday 27 January 2018 in Naples an initiative not to be missed is planned. It is aboutextraordinary opening of the Cappella dei Bianchi della Giustizia, hidden within the Incurable facility, where some will be available guided tours.
We will go to the discovery of this spectacular baroque jewel, which preserves precious treasures like frescos, stuccos, wooden figures and in wax. After the first opening of last July, which took place later over 150 years of closure, the chapel returns to show the public a story of compassion and charity.
Here, in fact, i members of the Congregation of the Whites of Justice guaranteed assistance to the indigent and the sick they gave comfort to those condemned to death. The confreres lent their work from the 1525 to the 1862: in four centuries, it is estimated that they have assisted più di 4000 persone destined for capital punishment.
In addition to the Chapel of the Whites of Justice, there will be the possibility to visit the Incurable Pharmacy, the Museum of Health Arts, the medical garden and the Cloister of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
