The eighth edition of the Chestnut and Hazelnut Festival 2019 in Avella is coming: tasting of typical products and fun for everyone is scheduled!
Since Friday 11 on Sunday 13 October 2019, returns as per tradition, the Chestnut and hazelnut festival which will take place in the city of Avella in the province of Avellino.
The event, now in its own right eighth edition, is organized every year thanks to the'I Rami del Melo Association that offers all citizens and the most curious the chance to taste and appreciate the typical products of the place as: lgroin, walnuts and anchovies, roasted chestnuts, hazelnut nougat, walnuts, raw hazelnuts and roasted and many desserts based on hazelnuts, walnuts and chestnuts.
This year the festival is enriched of exhibitors of theExpo Avella City of art (the craft and agriculture fair). The advice we give you is to reach the town in the morning and visit the historic center with the Roman Amphitheater, Roman Tombs, Norman Castle and the Ducal Palace and visit the Expo Avella City where you can buy typical local products.
