Here comes the traditional chestnut and porcini mushroom festival in Roccamonfina 2018 with lots of good food and entertainment
The famous is held in Roccamonfina for everyone during the October weekend festival of chestnut and porcino mushroom which reaches its 42nd edition this year. The next appointments are for the 13 and 14, 20 and 21, 27 and 28 October 2018. Many specialties and menus planned for this edition together with the music and entertainment that this event never fails.
The stands scattered throughout the city center will serve the various local specialties including the inevitable roast chestnuts, the chestnut soup and porcini mushrooms, chestnuts in syrup and the typical dessert of the area, namely the castagnaccio. Everything will be accompanied by good local red wine.
In the heart of the city will also set up a stage where they will perform many local bands ready to cheer the evening with their music but not only: they are in fact scheduled comedy show, especially Saturday 20 October will be a guest of the event Job Covatta, the next day instead Federico Salvatore.
