On the occasion of Christmas 2019 Città della Scienza in Naples organizes numerous activities, including interactive workshops and events to celebrate together in the name of science!
From 24 December 2019 to 5 January 2020 Città della Scienza in Naples, proposes a program full of events, activities and scientific laboratories to have fun together during the Christmas holidays.
Guests can spend a day full of carefree and knowledge, they will be able to learn and know many curiosities about Christmas, on its symbols, on its legends, cultures and traditions.
Christmas 2019 in Città della Scienza
We will start with 3D Planetary Show "Hidden Universe", a fantastic journey into Space, in the most remote regions of our Universe thanks to the vision of real 3D IMAX images captured by powerful telescopes.
And then again Live 2D Planetary Show "The Christmas Stars", many curiosities about the astronomical, and therefore also cultural, importance of the Winter sky will be given to the public along with a fantastic map of the December sky, with the major constellations and the brightest stars.
Many are also scheduled WORKSHOPS on insects, tinkering which involves the creation of a personalized light ticket and themed tombolas to discover curiosity about the periodic table and its elements.
Epiphany party
January 5th 2020 from 10.00 to 14.00, the Epiphany Festival will close the Christmas program and for the occasion, all children up to 12 years of age will enter for free!
