In Naples there is already an air of Christmas celebration because, with a very large advance, they are already installing the lights that will brighten up the Christmas period.
Well yes, yes from the second half of September the holiday lights they will cover are popping up 130 km of roads in the city. This is the project funded by the Naples Chamber of Commerce which this year is committed to guaranteeing the city the illumination of the festivals.
A project that will cost 2,2 million euro but which compensates for the economic problems of the municipal coffers and which has already been put in place three months earlier to avoid delays as in previous years.
When the lights will be turned on
The expected period for the lighting of the Christmas lights in Naples is early November so, in order to be able to cover the 130 km of city roads, we started well in advance. Considering that there will also be the elections for the mayor and its establishment, there could have been further delays.
Ciro Fiola, the President of the Naples Chamber of Commerce, stated that theinstallation will cover all neighborhoods, even those more peripheral which have often been excluded and which will also illuminate well 30 city squares, from Scampia to Barra.
From the outskirts to the center of Naples, the city will be brightly lit and this year will also anticipate many other European cities that generally take action very soon.
