The dynamics of the train accident

The damage on one of the oldest trains of the Circumvesuviana

This incident has reopened the discussion on the problem related to old Circumvesuviana trains. The damage this morning occurred on a T21, one of the oldest of the company, built in the 80s.

Of the approximately 70 Circumvesuviana trains, 20 have undergone refunctionalization and only in 2025 should the first new trains come into operation built by the Stadler company. In total there are 40 new trains.
