EAV has communicated that the the Torre Annunziata-Poggiomarino section of the Circumvesuviana has resumed operation starting July 20, 2022 and will be in service until August 31. We are talking about a section on the Poggiomarino-Scafati-Torre Annunziata line.
The interruption was announced about a couple of weeks ago, but the resumption was necessary to respond to thehigh demand for mobility Because I am so many passengers who need it to use this route for work, study or even simply for leisure reasons.
The restoration, however, is partial because the trains will be in operation only from Monday to Friday, therefore the weekend is excluded.
This is good news in the context of frequent suppressions and daily delays, hoping that the situation can still improve.
