With a post on his facebook page, the mayor of Bacoli, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione, announces the arrival of a special train called CuMare Express.
This is a new convoy that will allow you to reach from Naples, the beaches and archaeological sites of Bacoli and which will be active starting from from the 16 April, every Saturday and Sunday, until September 2022.
To present the new train, the EAV, the Autonomous Body Volturno, from 18 to 20 March 2022, will participate in the twenty-fifth edition of the Mediterranean Tourism Exchange which will take place at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples.
The route of the CuMare Express
The CuMare Express, the new train that will allow citizens from Naples to reach the beaches and archaeological sites of Bacoli will have as a departure station Montesanto. From here it will make several stages such as:
- Pozzuoli, from the latter it will be possible to reach the port located 200 meters away and reach Procida, Capital of Culture 2022.
- Fusaro station from which it will be possible to reach the Casina Vanvitelliana
- Torregaveta, that is the point of arrival for the beaches of bacoli and Roman beach.
In short, a great way to avoid all the bathing traffic which is formed in the summer months.

You can secure a seat on the CuMare Express by making a reservation from the online platform.
Regarding the prices:
- the one-way ticket costs 10 €;
- the return ticket costs 15 €;
- children up to 10 years of age travel free.
