The city of Baiano, in the province of Avellino, is ready to host the 2017 Hazelnut Festival, a two days with gastronomy, shows and guided tours, organized by the Pro Loco Baiano and scheduled on 9 and 10 September 2017.
The Hazelnut Festival, now in its own XXVII edition, will attract many tourists, ready to arrive in Irpinia not only to enjoy good food, strictly based on hazelnut, but also to participate in guided tours and moments of entertainment.
Gastronomy, guided tours and shows
Typical dish of the event is the pasta with hazelnut pesto, also accompanied by other hazelnut dishes, such as the hazelnut chop , hazelnut creamy meatball, besides of course Nougat.
In the day of Sunday September 10moreover, it will be possible to participate in guided tours on reservation at the archaeological, artistic and landscape beauties of the territory, at the end of which lunch is scheduled.
On the same day there will be a convention in which Dr. Patrizia Gentilini, medical oncologist and haematologist, will talk about pesticides, plant protection products and fertilizers and their harmful effects on the environment and public health.
Finally, also expected moments of show, with smooth and group dances organized in collaboration with the dance school La Coppia Dance, the folk music of scetavajasse and the show of Luca Sepe.
