Religious procession, dances and Tiromancino in free concert at the Festa dei Gigli in Nola!
Until 29 June 2016, in Nola, a small town on the slopes of Vesuvius, will take place the traditional Feast of the Gigli celebrated in honor of the protector San Paolino.
The celebration, officially declared a World Heritage Site, has gods religious and folk moments involving the participants emotionally.
The party consists of the "ballad" of the guild committees to the rhythm of the music of the 8 colossal "lilies", consisting of large wooden obelisks, festive machines carried on the shoulder, which refer to the ancient guilds of the arts and crafts (Ortolano, Salumiere, Bettoliere, Panettiere, Beccaio, Calzolaio, Blacksmith and Tailor).
For the city will also parade the so-called "Boat", a smaller structure in the shape of a boat, in fact, which represents the return to his homeland of San Paolino, who will be blessed, together with the lilies, by the bishop. This year there will be special guests at the event, including the King Charles of Bourbon, the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca and the Tiromancino, who will perform for free.

at 21.30 pm “Carovana del gusto”, dedicated to the themes of healthy eating with tasting of typical products and an exhibition of vintage cars. The concert by Enzo Gragnaniello will close the evening.
