XXV edition of the White Artichoke Festival of Pertosa 2019, in the province of Salerno: scheduled tastings and culinary tours!
The 3, 4, 5, 11 and 12 May 2019 will host the Artichoke Festival in Pertosa, a municipality in the province of Salerno.
The event has now reached the XXV edition is enjoying great success year by year, and aims to enhance this excellent and rare variety of artichoke, grown exclusively in this area.
It is a artichoke from the characteristic light green color, resistant to low temperatures, very delicate in flavor and characterized by inflorescences without thorns.
During the holidays the guests can both take part in the culinary journey among the various stands that will be set up but they will also have the opportunity to visit the beauties of the area such as the suggestive Pertosa-Auletta Caves and the Mida01, the geo-speological multimedia museum.
