Metronapoli: 6 subway line suspended from 3 March 2014

Naples metro 6 line, ancoa closed by 3 March 2014

Once again underground 6 line closed to the public for extraordinary maintenance work from the 3 2014 March

Still inconvenience for all commuters who use the daily subway line 6, which connects the district of Fuorigrotta with Mergellina. We had recently announced the reopening of the metropolitan transport service starting from 20 last January, then suspended again in the 13 and 14 February 2014 daysAlways for extraordinary maintenance operations.

Metronapoli makes it known that the line 6 it will be again suspended from the next 3 March 2014 for another month, for carrying out maintenance and upgrading of network technologies.

Recall that the 6 line is a subway in the city of Naples that, from its opening to the public in the 2007, includes only four stations, Exhibition, Augusto, Lala and Mergellina, but it should include four more, Arco Mirelli, San Pasquale, Chiaia-Monte Di Dio and Piazza Municipio. The service of this public transport is limited in service and in the time slots: it works only from Monday to Friday from 7: 30 to 14: 30, with frequency every 16 minutes.

It is hoped that these maintenance interventions, in addition to blocking commuters in an already precarious transport situation in the city of Naples, can complete as soon as possible the services for the construction of new connections and stations that would make our city more livable.
