The company Mummenschanz, founded in Switzerland 40 years ago, brings on stage shows of visual transformation, where objects in common use, such as tires, fabrics, tubes and other materials, can become, thanks to the magic of the theater, anything before the eyes of the public.

Figures of the most imaginative, playful creatures with a life of their own and that do not let the actors who interpret them alternate on the scene, and without the need for words or music or scenography, tell stories, situations, involving viewers making them laugh at moments of everyday life .

I Mummenschanz They are famous all over the world and have performed in over sixty countries. The company was founded in 1972 by Swiss artists Bernie Schürch e Andres Bossard with Floriana Frassetto, with the aim of staging a typology of non-verbal theater. Their greatest success was recorded on Broadway, where they performed for three consecutive years. After Andres Bossard's death, Mummenschanz has become a non-profit foundation that is committed to spreading the magic and enchantment of theater all over the world that does not use verbal or sound language, making use only of the visual potential, bodily expressiveness and surreal masks of which the actors make use of.
