Museum and Certosa di San Martino in Naples

The Museum and the Charterhouse

The Certosa di San Martino was consecrated in the 1368. It was given a purely style Gothic that in the 1600 will be converted into baroque. It will be in the next century that the chapel of the Magdalene, the Refectory and the Cloister will be annexed.
Giordano, Vaccaro and De Mura stand out among the personalities who worked there. In the 1866 the Fiorelli will constitute the museum that was intended to preserve the "patrie memories" of the city.
