The historic center of Naples lights up with the 2017 Night of Art: the protagonists will be the myth and the imagination in the historic places of the city!
Il 16th December the city of Naples will not go to sleep: its lights will remain lit for the Night of Art 2017, which will turn on the Neapolitan historical center with many events and shows. The initiative will involve the Second Municipality with the Avvocata, Montecalvario, Mercato, Pendino, Porto and San Giuseppe districts.
For the occasion the shops will remain open and the streets will come alive with performance of all kinds until late at night. "Stories, stories and legends”Is the subtitle of the event, whose central themes will be fantasy and dreamlike dimension of Naples. This will emphasize the fundamental aspects of the Neapolitan culture, myths and beliefs, which enrich it with characters halfway between dream and reality.
The municipality invites different historical places to participate: churches, shops, laboratories and museums will host events. In this way we propose the relaunch of the economy and of the artistic heritage, through a way of aggregation away from the schemes.

The Museum of Folly
