For the Night of the 2015 Museums in Naples, the Sea Museum will organize three interesting events
The demonstration Night of the 2015 Museums, which guarantees an extraordinary evening opening of the museums, will take place on May 16 also in Naples.
Among the locations of the events, there will be the Museum of the Sea, in Bagnoli, which boasts a heterogeneous scientific heritage and which is the symbol of Mediterranean and seafaring culture. Three important initiatives will take place here.
Events
We will start with a poetic / musical tribute to Naples, created by Massimiliano Caputo and Gianni Festinese.
We will continue with the staging of the show "The Journey of Artemisia", inspired by the novel by A. Banti, interpreted by Laura Ricci, directed by Giorgia Palombi, and with Marina Giugliano on the cello. A memory of the Caravaggesque painter Artemisia Gentileschi who lived part of her life and her career in Naples. The artist testifies to an artistic and intellectual independence, rare in that era.
At the end of the show, after a gastronomic break, we can participate in"Observation of the Celestial Vault" which, through sophisticated telescopes, will make us admire the sky to know the planetary system and the annexed satellites.
