Oliolà, in Naples the real gourmet Apulian bruschetta | Review

OlìOlà brings to Naples the gourmet bruschetta, prepared with the typical products of the Apulian gastronomic tradition

Update: the room has closed, replaced by other activity.

Have you ever tasted one bruschetta from Puglia? And have you ever thought that there could be one gourmet bruschetta? We all think that making a bruschetta does not take much (a little toasted bread, a drizzle of oil and some simple and tasty ingredients, such as cherry tomatoes and basil). But perhaps only because none of you have ever tasted the real Apulian bruschetta prepared by Oliola, a very original bruschetteria opened a few months ago in Naples, in via Scarlatti al Vomero (side via Morghen).

OliOlà, the Apulian bruschetta between tradition and modernity

La Bruschetta is one of the gastronomic dishes of excellence of Puglia, born as a quick "poor" dish and prepared with typical ingredients of the Apulian peasant tradition: slices of toasted bread on the always burning embers of domestic fireplaces, locally produced oil and tomatoes picked in the Brindisi province.

The family Of Molfetta managed to found, next to the historic family oil mill in Bisceglie (where you can taste the typical extra virgin olive oil Olio di Puglia), the first bruschetteria Oliola, with the aim of rediscovering and enhancing an ancient and traditional product, the bread bruschetta, making it a gourmet dish for everyone.

Oliola it soon became one bruschetteria in quality franchise, a refined fast food that offers bruschetta topped with traditional products from artisan farms and the Slow Food Puglia Presidium, but also unusual and more modern ingredients with which to create original combinations of flavors.
