The photo exhibition on Pink Floyd will be in the galleries of the Roman Amphitheater in Pompeii!

Il 21 June 2016, At the Music Festival, to Ruins of Pompeii there will be a preview of the photographic exhibition dedicated to Pink Floyd and the unforgettable moments linked to the concert behind closed doors which took place in 1971 and which gave life to the video “Pink Floyd-Live at Pompei”.

The Superintendent Massimo Osanna and the curator of the event Adrian Maben have decided to give a taste of the exhibition that The 9 July will open its doors to the public, after David Gilmour concert. Dal12 July there will be a short break, then the show will resume the 18 July to end at the end of September. Pompeii thus opens the galleries of the Roman Amphitheater to the public, places that will remain in the memories of those who have seen the film "The Last Days of Pompeii" by Peter Hunt, shot in 1984, or of those who have seen the video of the English band.

The photographic exhibition includes more than 250 photos, between shots taken on stage and unpublished images that tell the four days in which Pink Floyd shot their masterpiece. The shots of the cameramen will be viewed, the video that collects the chats of the band and the video with the interviews that the director Adrian Maben made in the London studios of Abbey Road while the four artists were recording the album "The Dark Side of the Moon".

The music of Pink Floyd will accompany visitors along the 80 meters of underground passages in an unforgettable atmosphere.
