Quality of life: Naples is penultimate in the Italian classification

Even though Naples is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, this year it scored very low in terms of quality of life. Compared to 2011, he lost a position by being overtaken by Caltanissetta and therefore placing himself in the penultimate place. Last place went to Taranto.

The data were published today by the Sun 24 Hours. These are data collected taking into account various parameters, such as services, environment, culture, etc., which serve to establish the quality of life for a citizen who lives in one of the Italian capitals. At the top of the ranking are Bolzano, Siena, Trento, Rimini and Trieste, which is therefore dominated only by the capitals of central and northern Italy.

This, which is the 23 th edition of the study on the quality of life in Italian cities, is a survey based on six general sectors which in turn focus on six other indicators for a total of 36 items to be taken into consideration. For Naples and the province of Naples, all six major indicators are negative.

quality of life

Within the Campania region all the provinces have been classified badly:
As for the items "services, environment, health“Naples is 84th, last among the big cities, and is preceded only by Benevento. Salerno (92), Caserta (93) and Avellino (95) are worse off.

The economic prospects are very worrying looking at the ranking of "business and work ". The Neapolitan capital is in place 93 and worse than she is only Avellino, 97 place number.

In the ranking "public”Is in place 91, while Avellino (50) and Benevento (52) are far better.

The only slightly encouraging data is that of "free time”Which sees the Neapolitan province in 78th place.

So the first province of Campania is Benevento, 83th, followed by Avellino, 93th, Salerno and Caserta, respectively 97th and 98th, and last of all Naples reaches the position 106 out of 107.
