The spring edition of the splendid International Hot Air Balloon Rally in Fragneto Monforte is also coming!
Fragneto Monforte, in the province of Benevento, has been a beautiful location for years International Meeting of Hot Air Balloons and this year comes with a novelty. In addition to traditional October appointment, will also take place the Spring Edition, the spring edition of the gathering that will cover the days of 29, 30 e 31 May 2015.
The Festival
It is one of the most important gatherings of ballooning in Italy and every year sees at least the participation 25 hot air balloons from all over Europe and beyond 80000 visitors from all over the peninsula. The show promises to be suggestive and fascinating even for this edition, also considering the period that should ensure a splendid time and even more suitable for flight.
On the sky of the Sannio you can admire dozens of balloons, colored and with particular shapes, which will hypnotize the audience, hovering in the sky from morning until late afternoon.
Events, music, tastings
But the meeting will include much more because the three days will be filled by a rich program of activities for young and old, sport events, tastings, dances, music, parties and fireworks.
Stands will be organized with exhibits agro-food excellence bells, especially those of the sannio, animation for children and face painting, traveling exhibitions of giocolorieri e eaters, cartomancy positions, religious processions for the patron of Fragneto Monforte and much more.

Tourist flights
For this edition of the rally, it is possible to carry out tourist flights following some conditions:
- You must reach the take-off field and register for the reservation list prepared exclusively by the person in charge of the field information office (maximum availability is 15 passengers to list)
- The list will be open every day at 7.00 in the morning and at 17.00 and will only be valid for flights in progress, ie you can not book in the morning for the afternoon flight or vice versa
- Once booked, you will need to have patience and wait for the pilots' availability, considering that for a matter of safety the passenger flights will be carried out only with favorable weather
- Once the passenger flights are allowed, you will be contacted and you will have to reach the information office again, where, after payment of € 100,00 (the cost of the flight is a contribution for the conduct of the event), a flight ticket will be delivered
- With this ticket you will be accompanied inside the area for takeoffs where you will go to your balloon
- At this point they will begin takeoff, flight, which can last between 40 and 90 minutes, and landing
- After taking the balloon apart, you will be taken back, from the balloon crew to the take-off field
