Finally the shuttle service to reach the museum of Capodimonte from historical center of Naples it becomes reality. It will be active from the 26 April 2016 and will allow citizens and tourists to reach one of the most interesting museums in the world and then, even, to the Capodimonte forest.
The initiative also kicks off in conjunction with the Maggio dei Monumenti, which this year will be dedicated to Charles of Bourbon.
It will be very easy to recognize the bus as the Flagellation of Caravaggio, while on the other there will be the images of the Palace and the Park.
Route, prices and time
The shuttle will depart from Piazza Trieste and Trento di fronte al Teatro San Carlo, where it will be located stall of minibuses, and will arrive at the museum also doing some intermediate stages: will stop at Piazza Municipio, Piazza Dante and National archeologic museum. It will reach its destination by stopping at the Porta Grande and will be available every day from 9.15 to 17.15 every hour. It will host in Piazza Trieste and Trento for 15 minutes and will be suspended on wednesday (closing day of the Museum). From January 2017 also includes the stop at the Catacombs of San Gennaro.
Prices (including museum ticket):
- Adults: € 12 (round trip)
- Boys from 5 to 25 years: 6 €
- Children up to 4 years: free
- For Neapolitan citizens special rate: € 1,50 (round trip)
Prices (excluding museum ticket):
- Round trip: 8 € | one way or only return: 5 €
- for Neapolitan residents special rate: 3 € (round trip) | 1,50 € (one way or return only)
