19 November 2017 will be announced ecological Sunday in Naples in the context of measures to combat atmospheric pollution.
The provision will be in force from 9.30 am to 13.00 pm, therefore, for three and a half hours will be the ban on the movement of cars throughout the city.
The municipal police will oversee the correct conduct of ecological Sunday, which will check that the traffic ban is respected in strategic locations in Naples.
There will be, however, some exceptions to the blocking of carsas on any such occasion.
Exemptions from the ban on the circulation of ecological Sunday
Notwithstanding the prohibition, they may circulate:
- le cars that transport disabled people with significantly reduced walking capacity, suitably in possession of the card regularly issued by the competent Authority, as well as the vehicles of the Napoli Sociale used for transporting the disabled
- le electric cars with zero emission;
- le car of the police forces, of the Local Police of Naples, of the Civil Protection, the service vehicles of the Justice administration recognizable by a special permit issued by the Prosecutors or the Courts, and those with ministers of worship on board who have to officiate religious rites;
- the cars of Public Bodies, Companies and companies providing public services and those in emergency call or used for the transport of material and / or personnel who must carry out urgent and public utility works and works;
- vehicles with a doctor on board on home visits for emergency calls and those with journalistic and radio and television information operators and professional photographers on board
- the vehicles they transport subjects carrying serious diseases which require the completion of rigorously systematic and periodic therapeutic treatments and vehicles carrying therapeutic gases or
medicines; - the cars and buses of the companies of Public transport, Taxis, rental cars and tourist buses;
- motor vehicles, with a capacity of less than 3,5 tons, for the transport of medicines and / or transport of emergency medical supplies
- the cars of the Career consuls with the special CC plate and the cars of the honorary Consuls with the consular badge next to the plate
- the vehicles of those participating in religious ceremonies or civilians
