24-hour strike announced by Trenitalia from 8 to 9 June 2013. Other strikes in the transport sector are also planned for the month of June
More strikes for the month of June, which did not start in the best way after the strike of 24 hours of public transport of yesterday's day, a black Monday for all students, workers and commuters.
Trenitalia in fact announced a strike of 24 hours that will begin at 21 on Saturday 8 June up to 21 on Sunday 9 on June. A bad news for those who want to take advantage of the next weekend to go and find relatives and friends out of town, to travel and take a trip out of town considering the good weather forecasts, or simply for those who will return home from the city where he works and the other way around.
To strike will be Trenitalia and RFI workers joining the ORSA. The latest participation of Trenitalia personnel in a strike called by the OrSA has approached 80%.
This is the strike scheduled for the 25 and 26 May 2013 then moved due to the administrative elections.
In fact, a note from the general secretary of OrSA Ferrovie Alessandro Trevisan states that "The strike of the staff employed by RFI SpA is deferred to 9 June 2013 from 9.01 to 17.00, while the personnel not connected to the circulation of trains with rest on Sunday is deferred to the entire service of Monday 10 June".
These are the reasons for the strike of the OrSA Ferrovie union: the shifts of mobile personnel, the outsourcing of Rolling Stock Maintenance, "The Commercial sector where the comparison on Direct Sales and Assistance languishes", the reorganization of Cargo e "The failure to establish by 31 December 2012 the Joint Commission which must analyze the solutions already put in place in order to guarantee the rescue in case of illness of the staff in certain times".
And that's not all. For the month of June are also provided two other strikes:
- Friday 14 June 2013: national strike of local public transport and Alitalia-Cai personnel.
- Monday 17 June 2013: protest in the safety and road traffic sector organized by Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uiltrasporti and Fist Confail. Aci Global workers stop (operations center and CCISS travel informed)
- Friday 28 June: general strike called by Fiom, the car, motorbike and components sectors will stop for eight hours
