Trenitalia's winter timetable also starts in Naples and Campania and trains are scheduled every 8 minutes for stops in the city.

Trenitalia has announced that the winter timetable will come into effect from 9 December 2018 also for the trains that circulate in Campania and Naples to reduce the frequency of train traffic across the region.

According to the company's declaration, the trains every 8 minutes will depart from Naples Campi Flegrei towards San Giovanni / Barra and they will be able to cross only all the city stations in 20 minutes, while 15 every minute there will be a train leaving from Campi Flegrei and heading towards Pozzuoli.

In a broader context, Trenitalia's winter timetable includes the improvement of traffic throughout Italy with the arrival of 6 new Frecce, 4 train extensions that are already in operation, e 55 new stops Arrows. Furthermore, they are planned more numerous connections in Southern Italy. They include 2 Frecciargento stops in Caserta and Benevento from / to Rome and Bari. there will also be more offers for international travel.
