Guided tours of the Monte Somma-Vesuvio complex to discover its history, traditions, curiosities and tour the Gran Cono!
The associations "Vesuvio Natura da Esplorare" and "Econote" are organizing a series of guided tours to discover the Vesuvio that will continue throughout the month of May 2016.
The first appointment with the Vesuvio CoolTour took place on May 1st, but it will continue until May 29 with an appointment a week. Every Sunday, in fact, you can follow interesting itineraries with routes of different difficulty to learn about the history of the Somma-Vesuvio volcanic complex and the excursions will be thematic.
We will investigate, for example, what happened in the last days of the eruption of 79d.C. or the "Vesuvius of Bourbons and brigands", but you can also get to know the popular traditions “'Ra muntagna” and make a beautiful whole tour of the Gran Cono.
For each excursion aspecific equipment to be equipped with: trekking shoes or non-smooth soles, water (1,5l), layered clothing, spare jersey, k-way or windproof, hat and backpack (no shoulder bags).
