A day dedicated to the animal world to be held at the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples in October.
Il Guarantor for animal rights in Naples, Stella Cervasio, in collaboration with the Roman volunteer, organized the first edition of Animal Day. The event will take place at PAN (Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli) on 16 October 2014.
The event will aim to teach children and adults about the world of animals and, moreover, will be set up photographic exhibition "Animals in an urban context". The photographs can be purchased and the proceeds will be donated for the realization of a project presented by the animalist associations that will participate in Animal Day.
In addition, the Cervasio, has launched on eppela one crowdfunding campaign to collect the amount necessary to organize the first edition of this event dedicated to animals. For now, almost 800 euro has been collected and the final goal is € 5000.

WHAT IS ANIMAL DAY?
A day entirely dedicated to animals (two- and four-legged, crawling, swimming, flying) and to the protection of their rights, associations, individuals and institutions that dedicate themselves to them with passion and competence.
WHY AN ANIMAL DAY NAPLES?
Because Naples is the third city, after Milan and Bergamo, to have the Guarantor for Animal Rights nominated by the municipal administration and always in Naples there is a large community of associations and institutions that work for the defense of animal rights.

To those who already know the animal world because they have one, to those who would like to know it better, to school children, to volunteers of associations that deal with animals, to institutions that protect their rights.
WHY SUPPORT THE ANIMAL DAY?
To discover that the Earth is not inhabited only by humans, there is a world made up of sentient beings capable of rejoicing and suffering and for this reason to know, respect and love. To create a moment of confrontation between operators and volunteers that will help all animal lovers. To share information, numbers, practices and activities useful to animals.
WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Because for this 1st edition of the ANIMAL DAY Napolisoster will be some expenses for the organization of meetings, workshops, setting up a thematic photographic exhibition Animals in urban environment and the creation and printing of a Vademecum with valuable information and advice on our animal friends, for a total of 5.000 euro
