ANM in Naples inaugurates the charging network for electric cars

THEAnm of Naples has installed 12 charging stations for electric cars in Bagnoli and via Argine and another three will be placed towards the end of the month Ponticelli to reach a total of 180 positions in all Anm car parks of the city soon.

The first stations were inaugurated on May 25, 2021 and it is the first public charging hub for electric cars of Be Charge, the company that was commissioned by the ANM to install the network of stations.

Those in possession of an electric car can leave it charging at the Bagnoli car park and in the future this operation can also be done in other places in Naples thanks to the installation of 180 total stations.

In the coming months, the other columns will be installed in other ANM car parks such as the Brin parking, those present in the Hospital area and in Centro Direzionale. They will also be useful for using other future services such as Be Charge's Vehicle to Grid (V2G), soon to be tested also together with the Universities.

The columns will be a new stimulus for the Neapolitans to choose the sustainable mobility and to improve the pollution condition in the city, improving air quality.

How to recharge

To recharge the electric car, theBe Charge app, which can be downloaded for free from bothApp Store both from Google Play. Through the app, yes view the map of all the columns present in the city and can occur which ones are available in real time. You can also understand what types of sockets there are and the price per kWh and monitor the charging progress.

Il cost of recharging will be charged to the card which will be associated with your account. In addition, via GPS you can view the map to reach other stations. The call center can be reached at the number 0287119401, 24 / 7.

Be Charge recommends users to follow sanitary regulations when using the columns, such as the use of disposable gloves.

Sustainable mobility

Not only charging stations for electric cars, but also many new low-emission buses. This is part of the municipality's project to reduce pollution in the city and promote sustainable mobility. Indeed, 180 new buses have been around for two years already and there will be more soon, plus i new trains of metro line 1 are being tested and new trolleybus for the hospital area is about to be put into circulation.

They are goals that want to help meet the climate neutrality in Europe by 2050, as per the Green Deal programs of the European Union.
