On Monday 1 August 2022 the new ANM tariff plan came into force, or the Neapolitan Mobility Company. This new tariff plan was established with the executive decree number 53 of May 13, 2022.
You may therefore be wondering what to do with tickets already purchased but don't worry because, despite the increase in the cost of tickets for single journeys, each traveler who has already previously purchased travel tickets, however, you can continue to use them until they are exhausted.
Ticket increase: here is the cost
As already announced by the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, il cost of the single journey ticket will increase by 10 cents. It will therefore go from 1,10 to 1,20 euros.
This ticket will allow you to make a single ride on bus, underground line 1 and the Mergellina, Montesanto, Central and Chiaia funiculars.
This novelty was justified by the fact that the new subway train which will determine an improvement in the service offered by public transport, with a substantial shortening of waiting times.
