Aperitif under the stars at the Capodimonte Observatory in Naples: stars, science and bubbles
Il 21nd June atCapodimonte astronomical observatory in Naples begins a new cycle of informative meetings under the banner of bubbles and science.
They are four appointments with unusual and even provocative themes, all in the splendid setting of the so-called “Terrace of Naples on the Universe”.
Obviously the initial date could only coincide with summer solstice, and therefore the 2019 edition of "Aperitif under the stars" opens on Friday 21 June.
The review, which this year is in its third edition, is curated by the scientific popularization association ponies, acronym that stands for Physics and Optics Naples Young Students, and from the INAF - Astronomical Observatory of Capodimonte.
As in other editions, the very interesting scientific conversations are followed by a appetizer on the amazing panoramic terrace of the observatory. Of course it is also an opportunity for an observation of the sky of Naples with the guidance of the Inaf astronomers and the Neapolitan Astrofili Union, in a continuous alternation of pleasure and science.
We will talk about: dark matter, gmo, the fiftieth anniversary of the first man on the moon and the esoteric "event horizon" that surrounds black holes.
The appointments are for the 21 and 27 June and for the 16 and 25 July 2019.
Start at 20.
