The Archeobar Literary Café opens in Naples. A place where you can enjoy an aperitif in the company of a good book or even a tablet.
Un coffee accompanied by a good one book: the apotheosis, for many. The four walls of the house will allow you to immerse yourself in reading in the company of a volume or, if you wish, you can take the latter to any bar in Naples that will welcome you in the usual way. Do you want more? Archeobar it will satisfy your wishes.
The young expert archeologist of ancient history, Nicoletta Insolvibile, together with the partner Andrea Botte, has decided to launch this bar that differs decisively from all the others: we can define the Archeobar as a literary bistro.
The winning feature of the restaurant, in addition to the bar areas, it's the baby library available for customers. The books made available will cover topics such as art, archeology, literature and travel (at the moment, 700 volumes are present). If desired, it will even be possible to take them away, but only after registering with the cultural association "Terrantiqua”, It is no coincidence that the bistro is also the seat of this association. Precisely for the latter reason, the structure will host cultural events, musical events and book presentations.
Here are some institutional events, in calendar:
- 16 October: presentation of the novel by Vincenzo di Giacomo "Eleven April".
- 24 October: archaeologist Daniele Petrella will present the results of recent research in Japan of the International Research Institute for Archeology and Ethnology
- 31 October: Archeohalloween, aperitif in mask with the best costume award.
A bar that will welcome the intellectuals, and not, at any time, even in the evening on Friday and Saturday (starting from 7 October 2013). For the most technological, the Archeobar also features wi-fi area with tablets made available to customers.
