Arrevutamm Pride 2026 in Naples: Today, June 20th, the queer march begins in Piazza Garibaldi.

Naples is preparing for a day of mobilization and pride with the second edition of Arrevutamm Pride , the self-organized and self-funded pride event that will enliven the streets of the city today, Saturday, June 20, 2026. A queer, transfeminist, anti-Zionist, anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, and decolonial event, built from the bottom up by the Neapolitan LGBTQIA+ community.

The meeting is set for 16:30 PM in Piazza Garibaldi , with the procession departing at 17:00 PM towards Piazza del Gesù . The organizers describe the day as "the largest day of struggle for the advancement of the material conditions of the LGBTQIA+ community in Naples."

A grassroots pride event, without sponsors

Born in 2025 from a political split with the official Naples Pride movement , Arrevutamm Pride presents itself as a living, fluid, and evolving political project. The collective advocates for a horizontal, self-funded organization free of commercial sponsorship, rejecting what it calls the "normalization" of the LGBTQIA+ movement.

Arrevutamm's political manifesto focuses on themes such as a critique of pinkwashing , the fight against Zionism, anti-racism, job insecurity, the right to housing and healthcare, and solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Pride explicitly defines itself as queer, trans-feminist, and anti-colonial, positioning itself in open opposition to institutional and commercial pride parades.

The name “Arrevutamm” (from the Neapolitan word meaning “let's revolt”) is already a program in itself: to overturn the logic of power, starting with the organization of the procession itself.

Two prides for one city

2026 confirms itself as a year of dual mobilization for Naples. While today the Arrevutamm Pride brightens the city, June 27th will be the turn of the official Naples Pride , celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the first parade in 1996. A political divide that has not been healed, but which offers the LGBTQIA+ community and the city two different visions of the same battle for rights.
