The obligation to wear a mask in the open air returns to Capri
From 22 June 2020 the mask in the open air it is no longer an obligation, but only optional. In recent weeks, however, the infections are returning to frighten. The numbers also rise in the south, the reasons are varied, but above all the doubts about which are the behavior to try to enjoy the holidays in safety.
Il mayor of Capri Marino Lembo does not want to take risks and cancels the last ordinance that made masks optional in open places and reapplies the obligation, especially in the period in which the movida it will be less manageable. Who will not wear the mask even in the open air will be punishable by a fine of 400 euros.
The new ordinance that imposes the obligation begins to go from Friday 14 August and will end on 30 August. In particular, PPE must be worn at public transport stops, while waiting for any means of transport and in public and / or open to the public areas listed in the ordinance list, i.e .:
Piazzetta Strina, via Roma (from Largo Due Golfi to Piazza Umberto I), piazza Martiri di Hungary, piazza Diaz, piazza Umberto I, via Oratorio, piazzetta Ignazio Cerio, via Madre Serafina, via Longano, piazza Cesare Battisti, via Listrieri , via Gradoni Sopramonte, via Madonna delle Grazie, via Li Curti, via Parroco Roberto Canale, via le Botteghe, via Fuorlovado, vico San Tommaso, via Sella Orta, via Vittorio Emanuele, via Camerelle, via Ignazio Cerio, via Certosa, viale Giacomo Matteotti, via Federico Serena, via Cristoforo Colombo up to the entrance to the Tourist Port, Pennello pier, Piazzetta Angelo Ferraro, Banchinella pier, Piazza Vittoria, Ticket Office area, via Provinciale Marina Grande (from Piazza Vittoria up to the bus terminal, at the plant Ondine), Marina Piccola – Piazzetta Antonio De Curtis.
Children under the age of six and people with disabilities that do not allow the continuous use of the mask are excluded from the obligation.
