Back Off Napoli Ovest, a Festival of music, art and experimentation at the Agnano Hippodrome

Il And 6 7 December 2024,Racecourse of Agnano of Naples will host BACK OFF – NAPLES WEST, an event that represents a true celebration of the contamination between music, e experimentation. Promoted and financed by the City of Naples within the project Naples City of Music, this event, organized by beresheet in collaboration with the international platform PalomArt, offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in an artistic context that combines different and innovative languages.

With laboratory activities, musical and audio-visual performances, and a photographic exhibition, Back Off wants to offer a space of expression and experimentation for national and international artists. Among the protagonists, also the famous label Analog Africa, known for her ability to unearth submerged gems of African and Latin American music.

How to participate and book for events?

All events of backoff I am at free entry until all places are filled, but it is necessary booking mandatory via Eventbrite. Reservations will open on Friday 22th November pm 12:00. To ensure access to events and workshops, it is recommended to book in advance as places are limited.

Program of the event

Friday 6th December: Music and art workshops

• From 16: 00 the workshops will begin graffiti e dance, which will offer participants a unique opportunity to experience street art and movement. Each workshop will have a maximum capacity of 20 Guests, to ensure an intimate and engaging experience.
• From 19: 00, will be inaugurated photographic exhibition edited by Vasiliki Ioannou, together with audio-visual performance di Jose Carlos Bellantuono, accompanied by the dj set by Navak. It will be a moment of total immersion among unique images, sounds and vibrations.
• Following this, two Neapolitan musical projects will perform on stage: Bottazzi Band and the duo Fakestarr, composed of Breakstarr e Faker, who will bring the public musical performances characterized by improvisation and pure experimentation.

Saturday, December 7: Theater, Music and Afro-Cuban Culture

• From 16: 00, space for creative workshops with the theatre workshop edited by Piera Saladin and the BatàLab music lab condotto Paolo Batà Bianconcini, which will guide participants to discover the Afro-Cuban culture, including percussion, rumba songs and traditional dances. Each workshop will have a maximum capacity of 15 participants. At the end of the workshop, participants will perform in a live performance together with the artists involved.
• The evening will continue with the dj set by Ciccio Sciò and the performance of label Analog Africa with Afreekaya, which will bring back to the stage the hidden musical treasures of theAfrica and Latin america.
• To close the evening, there will be a DJ set from the new musical project “By chance”, a duo composed of Neapolitan DJs and producers Gabriele del Prete e Mario Bianco, who promise to liven up the night with their energy and charisma.
