The sky of Paestum will be colored by gigantic hot-air balloons thanks to the Ballon Festival!
From 3 to 11 October 2015 (Monday 5 excluded), Paestum it will become the scenario for the sixth edition of the "Paestum Balloon Festival", the renowned international gathering of hot-air balloons.
The event stands as the largest isostatic event in Southern Italy and will allow citizens and tourists to admire close up around 30 hot air balloons from all over Europe.
The renowned meeting, over the years, has become famous thanks to the extraordinary take-offs which are historically made near the ancient Greek-Roman temples of Paestum, giving spectators unique and rich atmosphere.
Moreover, in flight it will be possible to admire the Amalfi coast and the Apennines, and on clear days even the beautiful island of Capri. For visitors it will also be possible to set up nice picnics in an area equipped for the occasion.
A nice initiative to spend entire days of relaxation, among the colors and beauties of the Campania region which, undoubtedly, will offer breathtaking views envied all over the world.

Prezzi: the 10 € bound flight for adults and children. The hot air balloons rise about 30 meters. Saturday and Sunday from 17.00 to 20.00, respecting some rules. For free flight consult the this page.
