The Basilica
The Basilica of San Francesco di Paola was built in 1817 by Pietro Bianchi, by the will of the Re Ferdinand I of Bourbon, on the occasion of the reconquest of the Kingdom. The church, preceded by six Ionic columns, borders half the square of the Plebiscite and is surmounted by a pediment designed to support the statues of religion, by S.Francesco di Paola and S. Ferdinando di Castiglia.
