Beats of Pompeii 2025, international music in the Amphitheatre of the Excavations

From 1 July at 5 August 2025,Amphitheater of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii transforms into one of the most iconic stages in Italy with the second edition of BOP – Beats of Pompeii. An event that unites contemporary music e archaeological heritage, offering the public a unique experience between notes and history.

The initiative confirms itself as one of the most anticipated summer festivals in Campania, with a rich and varied programming, capable of attracting artists of world and national fame. The goal is to enhance the archaeological site with top-level events, capable of attracting enthusiasts from all over Italy and beyond.

Which artists will perform in Pompeii?

On the stage of the Amphitheatre they will alternate international legends as:

• Nick Cave, accompanied by Colin Greenwood of Radiohead
• Jean-Michel Jarre
• Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals
• Bryan Adams
• Dream Theater
• Wardrun

Alongside them, also some of the most famous Italian artists:

• Gianna Nannini, which opens the European tour right from Pompeii
• Antonello Venditti
• Stefano Bollani Quintet
• Serena Rossi

The billboard also includes jimmy sax with the Symphonic Dance Orchestra, and is structured in a busy schedule that aims to satisfy different musical tastes.

Not just concerts: two special exhibitions

During the festival, there will be set up two photographic exhibitionsThe first is dedicated to the Pink Floyd, with rare and unpublished materials from the famous 1971 live in Pompeii. The second, entitled “Being a Woman in Ancient Pompeii”, tells the story of the female role in Roman society through finds, reconstructions and authorial shots.

Tickets are already available on the main online circuits, in particular Ticketone e Vivaticket (only for some events). Access is limited, so we recommend purchasing in advance to avoid missing the opportunity to attend one of the most evocative events of summer 2025.
