Biden's gratitude

Biden's special thanks

Biden reiterated his belief in American potential, stating:

I believe, today as always, that there is nothing America can't do if we all do it together. We just need to remember that we are the United States of America

The reasons for the withdrawal

Biden's decision came after weeks of intense pressure, which followed a disappointing performance in the first presidential debate. During the debate, Biden appeared tired and confused, often losing the thread of his speech. Episodes that raised concerns about his health and age, which until then had remained in the background. In response, numerous members of the Democratic Party explicitly called for him to withdraw from the race.

Who will succeed Biden?

Predictions give Kamala Harris' candidacy as more likely, given that the funds between her and Biden were shared and her strong presence given her role as vice president.
