Return to Naples, the car block in the form of a anti-pollution device which will start at the end of April and will end, for now, in December.
This is the usual active traffic block from the 28 April 2014 to the 31 December 2014 and which will involve the days of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This block requires the prohibition of circulation on all the urban territory with the exclusion of the city motorway network in the sections falling within the territory of the Municipality of Naples: then Tangenziale di Napoli, Junction A1 Rome-Naples and A3 Naples-Salerno, ex SS162 and viale Ruffo Fulco di Calabria.
As for timetables, the traffic block will be broken down as follows: Monday, Wednesday e Friday from 7.30 11.30 and Thursday from 15.00 18.30.
However, on some specific days the anti-pollution device it will not be active: Thursday 1st May, Monday 2nd June, Friday 15th August, Friday 19th September, Monday 8th December, Wednesday 24th December, Thursday 25th December, Friday 26th December and 31st December. Furthermore, it is expected an ecological Sunday a month with prohibition of vehicular traffic from 9.30 to 13.00. The ecological Sundays will on 11 May, 1 June, 6 July and 3 August.
They can circulate, in derogation to the previous provisions, some categories of vehicles, which you can read below.
- motor vehicles carrying disabled people with significantly reduced walking capacity, equipped with a card issued by the competent Authority and the Napoli Sociale vehicles used for the transport of the disabled;
- electric or zero emission vehicles;
- mopeds and motorcycles at 4 times;
- mopeds and motorcycles with 2 homologated times 2 Euro and later;
- vehicles powered by LPG or methane;
- Euro 4 and subsequent vehicles, even if used for goods transport;
- Euro 2 and Euro 3 vehicles with at least three persons on board including the driver (car-pooling);
-the vehicles of the Police Forces, of the local Police of Naples, of the Civil Protection, military, service of the administration of Justice recognizable by the appropriate permit issued by the Prosecutors or by the Courts, and those with on board ministers of worship who must officiate to religious rites;
- vehicles registered to Public Bodies, Public Service Companies and Companies and those in emergency call or used for the transport of material and / or personnel assigned to carry out urgent and public utility works and works;
- motor vehicles, mopeds and motor vehicles with a doctor on board on a home visit for emergency calls, operators in the journalistic and radio and television information sector and professional photographers;
- motor vehicles, motor vehicles and mopeds transporting therapeutic or medicinal gases;
- cars and buses of individual and collective public transport companies, taxis, rental vehicles with a maximum capacity not exceeding 3,5 t, tourist buses and cars from driving schools for driving exercises and exams equipped with 'specific written "driving school";
- vehicles with a maximum capacity not exceeding 3,5 t used to transport values, medicines and / or health material;
- vehicles registered and with citizens residing in regions other than Campania;
- the vehicles of the career consuls with special plate CC and the honorary consuls with numbered circular mark;
- vehicles belonging to religious or civil ceremonies scheduled for the block days, for a maximum number of 4 authorized vehicles.
