The tradition of bonfire di San Giuseppe has its roots in distant times and affects many regions of Italy, especially in Campania. The bonfire, in a certain way, evokes the fire lit by St. Joseph inside the grotto of Bethlehem with the aim of warming the newborn Jesus and Mary.
In our region they organize many themed events, such as the one in the hamlet of Plant them, located in the municipality of Campania Basin (CE).
