Once Upon a Time in Trentinara: 5 days of music, traditions, and flavors in the Cilento village.

Five days of music, children's activities, dancing, food and wine, and workshops: from 22nd to 26th July the village of Trentinara (SA) celebrate popular traditions with “Once Upon a Time in Trentinara”.

The event, conceived by one of the historic organizers of the "Festa del Pane e della Civiltà Contadina" (Bread and Rural Civilization Festival), will revive the town's most authentic soul, through flavors, music, and ancient customs.

Among the alleys of the historic center, the aromas of dishes will blend with the sounds of traditional music, songs, and dances.

The laboratories

There are many workshops that you can take part in during the festival days: from those of dance with Matthijs Ronner and Robbert Liekens from Mariagrazia Lettieri (between pizzica, tarantella cilentana and tammurriata agro nocerino-sarnese style) to the creative ones for the basket making o per la ceramic artistry, respectively edited by Francesco Mauro e Antonella Di Lascio.

Activities for children

Every day there are many activities dedicated to the little ones. From 17: 30 to 19: 30 they will be able to have fun learning to build baskets, make pasta and learn about the history, habits and customs of Trentinara.
