Campania Teatro Festival 2024: the seventeenth edition is underway

Also this year the long-awaited appointment with the Campania Theater Festival, the festival has reached its seventeenth edition and will take place from 21 September to 15 December 2024. The eighth edition directed by Ruggero Cappuccio, organized by the Fondazione Campania dei Festival thanks to the support of the Campania Region will have as its slogan Fight for freedom.

Despite the start date being postponed by three months and there being changes in the sections and venues, this year's event promises a program packed with events, with 40 shows taking place in various locations in Campania. Among these, there will be 8 international shows.

The inaugural event will take place at Teatro Mercadante with the theatrical transposition of the famous novel by Ruggero Cappuccio. Then the events will continue at the Teatro Politeama, at the Teatro San Ferdinando and in other places.

• 21 and 22 September At the Teatro Mercadante the inaugural event “Neruda's First Light”, from the novel by Ruggero Cappuccio
• fragrance At the Teatro Sannazzaro, Ternitti by Mario Desiati, finalist for the 2011 Strega prize, will be performed
• fragrance The show on stage at the Teatro Mercadante The Pig Doctor with Luca Bizzarri
• 26 September - 2 October At the Royal Palace of Portici Seven Arts of Liberty
• fragrance at the Teatro Mercadante on stage Note a Margine directed by Riccardo Pippa
• fragrance at Palazzo Coppola Valle Cilento screening of the film The Puzzle

To participate in these and other scheduled events, it will be necessary to purchase a ticket that will cost between 5 and 8 euros. Those who have the Feltrinelli Card will be able to purchase tickets at a reduced price, while for the weaker social groups the ticket will be completely free.
