On vacation with the Mermaid at MANN: the children's camp from August 31st to September 4th

The final week of "On Holiday with the Mermaid ," the summer camp organized by MANN and CoopCulture for boys and girls aged 6 to 12, begins at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The program runs from Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, 2026, just days before school resumes.

A Campus themed after Partenope the Mermaid

The campus guides young visitors through the exhibition "Parthenope: The Siren, the City," with workshops, games, stories, and creative activities. The myth of the siren, symbol of Naples, guides a journey through the museum's collections: from Homer's tale to ancient representations, all the way to the design of Siren-inspired artifacts.

The program of the week

Each day has a different theme: the tale of the Mermaid, games and a memory game dedicated to the myth, the discovery of fish and fantastical animals with a puppet show. There's also a morning workout and expressive workshops in the afternoon, including drawing, painting, and mosaics.

Hours and fares

Check-in is from 8:30 am to 9:00 am, with last admission at 9:00 am. Check-out is at 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and at 2:30 pm on Fridays. Weekly rate: €120 , reduced to €100 with the siblings or "bring a friend" package.
