Every year, the Chinese community of Naples organizes events and celebrations to share with citizens and tourists the charm of this ancient tradition. The 2025 will be the Year of the Snake, symbol of wisdom and transformation, and for the occasion the city will host a major event at Round Diaz.

Where and when is Chinese New Year 2025 celebrated in Naples?

Also this year, Naples hosts the celebrations of the Chinese New Year, the most important event of Chinese culture, with a series of events that will be held on 15 and 16 February 2025 to the Round Diaz, from 10: 00 to 19: 00. The event, organized by the Chinese Associations of the Campania Region, aims to promote cultural exchange between China and Italy and to make Chinese tradition better known to Neapolitan citizens and tourists.

What events and activities will there be?

The 2025 Chinese New Year program has not yet been officially announced, but based on the 2024 edition, a series of activities can be expected that will make the experience engaging and immersive. Last year, the celebrations took place in Monumental Complex of San Domenico Maggiore with musical performances, traditional dances and workshops open to all, which have allowed us to discover arts such as making Chinese knots.

It is likely that in 2025 there will also be moments dedicated to:
