Capodimonte Museum in Naples

The Capodimonte Museum and the Zoological Station of Naples in a special combination on social media dedicated to art and marine biology!

The beautiful Museum of Capodimonte, Together with Zoological Station Anton Dohrn, the National Institute of Biology, Ecology and Marine Biotechnology of Naples, give life to a very special initiative, entitled Art diving. 

It will be a in-depth cycle that will take place on social channels where you can learn about curiosities about marine fauna and flora of the Mediterranean, the characteristics of the beautiful Gulf of Naples, the myths, the sirens. You will know scientific curiosities concerning some works kept in the Capodimonte Museum.

Art diving

Twelve they will be the appointments, with respective twelve posts carefully curated by the Museum's art experts and the marine biologists of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station. The posts will be published over the course of a year simultaneously on social channels, Facebook and Instagram.

The review started on March 22 2021 with the work Source di groan, on the occasion of the World water day. 

The protagonists of the subsequent appointments will be Luca Giordano, Giacinto Gigante and many other artists present in the collections of the Capodimonte Museum in Naples.
