Capodimonte Museum in Naples open in August: the exhibitions to visit

Art lovers can also enjoy a Ferragosto why the Capodimonte Museum in Naples will remain open and will allow us to visit all the permanent collections inside, but also the many temporary exhibitions that have been set up for months.

The museum will be open throughout the long weekend of August, from the 12 to the 15 August 2022, as well as the Wood which can also be accessed on those days to take a bit of coolness.

In addition, on Saturdays and Sundays in the halls of the museum there will be music at piano of the Master Rosario Ruggiero.

The exhibitions to visit in the Capodimonte Museum

With the entrance ticket, in addition to the permanent collections, you can visit the following exhibitions:

The bronze patriarch of the Caravaggeschi: Battistello Caracciolo (1578-1635) until 2 October in the Sala Causa. From 10.00 to 17.30, the last admission is at 17.00;
Savior Emblem, open until 30 October on the second and third floors from 10.00 to 17.30, the last entrance is at 17.00;
Beyond Caravaggio. A new tale of painting in Naples until 7 January 2023. From 10.00 to 17.30, the last admission is at 17.00;
Cecily Brown. The Triumph of Death until 30 September. It is part of the cycle of focus exhibitions The Opera tells itself. From 8.30 to 19.30, the last admission is at 18.30)

The opening times of the halls on the weekend will be as follows:

Il first floor with the Farnese Collection, the De Ciccio Collection, the Royal Armory section, the rooms of the Royal Apartment in a recent rearrangement open from 8.30 at 19.30 hours, the last entry is at hours 18.30;
Il second floor with the collection of the Arts in Naples, the exhibition Beyond Caravaggio, the section of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries on the third floor (10-17.30 with last admission at 17.00)

the Real Bosco is open until 22.00 throughout the month of August;
the Church of San Gennaro and the Cellaio with the Emblema exhibition will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 17.00, the last admission is at 16.30 (except in adverse weather conditions)
